Understanding and Responding to Alerts

Alerts are UFOFLEET’s way of flagging situations that need your attention before they become problems. Each alert has a defined severity and a required action.

Severity levels

Level Meaning
Info Awareness only — no immediate action required
Error Needs attention, not yet critical
Fatal Immediate action required to avoid a failed booking or operational breakdown

Customer Alerts

  • Bookings starting or ending today Info
    Verify the driver is registered and a vehicle is assigned. Closes automatically once the rental starts.
  • Account deletion requested Error
    Contact the driver to confirm it’s intentional. Closes automatically once the account is deleted.

Operations Alerts

  • Unplanned operation Variable
    Manually assign to an available operator or ask an operator to claim it. Can be manually closed with a note.

Rental Alerts

  • Arrive-and-drive rental Fatal
    A booking was created less than 1 hour before start. Immediately verify driver registration and vehicle assignment.

Cannot assign vehicle Fatal

Check if any vehicle in maintenance can be released. If not, the booking must be cancelled.

⚠️ Check your alerts dashboard at the start and end of each operational day. Fatal alerts should never be left unresolved across a shift handover.
