Modify a Booking

How to Modify a Booking

Overview Use this guide to update the start or end time of an existing booking.

1. Access the Booking

  1. Open the top-left menu (three horizontal bars)
  2. Go to Drivers → Bookings
  3. Search by booking reference, customer name, phone number, or email
  4. Click the booking reference to open it

2. Edit the Schedule

  1. On the booking page, click the calendar icon (Schedule) in the top right
  2. Click “Edit Schedule”
  3. Update the start date/time and/or end date/time as needed
  4. Click Save

3. Business Rules

Field Allowed When
Start date/time Booking status = Confirmed (not yet started)
End date/time Booking status = Confirmed or Ongoing
Either field Not allowed if booking status = Closed

4. What to Expect

  • Changes apply immediately
  • The driver sees the updated booking in the UFOfleet Lite app

5. Troubleshooting

Booking not found – Check the search criteria and retry with a different identifier.

Modification not allowed – Check the booking status. Inform the customer:

  • Start time can only be changed before the rental begins
  • End time can only be changed while the rental is ongoing
  • No changes are possible once a booking is closed
