Inspections are optional but allow operators and managers to log vehicle condition before and after a booking. Each inspection captures 6 images using a guided template, building a condition history per vehicle and enabling damage to be assigned to a specific booking.
1. How to Access an Inspection
There are two entry points:
Via the Vehicle
- Open the vehicle record
- Click the Inspection tab
- Follow the image capture prompts
Via the Booking
- Open the booking
- Click “Assist”
- Follow the image capture prompts
Note: The Inspection button only appears when accessing from a mobile device or when the browser window is condensed. This is required to enable camera functionality.
2. Completing an Inspection
- Select the inspection entry point (vehicle or booking)
- The system will prompt you to capture 6 images
- A template overlay indicates which part of the vehicle each image should cover
- Capture all 6 images
- Save the inspection
3. Viewing Inspection History
- Open the vehicle record
- Click the Inspection tab
- All inspections for that vehicle are listed here
- Use the available filters to narrow results by date, booking, or other criteria
