Validating a Customer Account

Customer validation is a separate checkpoint from licence validation. It confirms that a driver’s contact details are working and verified — a prerequisite for starting any rental.

What gets validated

Phone number — Automatically verified when the driver receives an SMS code and logs into the app. If unvalidated, verification wasn’t completed. If missing, request it immediately.

Email address — Automatically set to validated once an email has been sent to the address. Same rules: unvalidated means incomplete, missing means request it now.

What happens when both are validated

The account status changes to Registered. The driver is now eligible to start a rental.
